Electric Barbarellas

Miz Milinka

A beautiful mix of Yugoslavian and Indonesian parents, she graduated with a degree in Economics from The Netherlands. When she returned to Jakarta, she worked in the finance industry as a stock broker and as a marketing representative at an index trading company for some time. On her free time, she also worked as a model and her face is already recognizable through some of her work for a number of nationwide commercials and advertisements when she decided to pursue a career in music. Music has been her lifelong passion and although nowadays she spins house music, Paul Van Dyk has been a great influence to her. Her experience in the fast paced world of the finance industry gives her the ability to read and assess the crowd when she plays and react accordingly without missing a beat. Her foray behind the decks is a way to seek out and share underground music with others. Her talent as a DJ, as well as her beauty and wonderful personality, will bring her even further in the coming years in the music industry.

Delizous Devina

Born from Dutch and Indonesian parents and raised in Sydney, this beauty was fascinated in art and music and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia. She started her career in the hospitality industry and took up a hobby in collecting vinyls and painting. Her affection to art and music pushes herself to become a DJ. One that can spin and create an atmosphere like no other. Delizious Devina brings her sexy charms and allure to Jakarta’s growing dance scene. Her style is a blend of groovy electro and house, that progress through her sets following the mood of the crowd. As the night moves on, so does her sound, transcending into a climax of uplifting floor fillers and pumping roof lifters. Her ability to read the crowd and to take it through a musical time tunnel is awe-inspiring.

Electric Barbarellas

Electric BarbarellasElectric Barbarellas had their first gig on November 18th, 2005, and in less then a year they have captured Indonesian clubbers’ heart, thus winning the “Best Rookie DJ” Paranoia Award 2006. Right after that, they reached another milestone by winning the “Best Junior DJ” and the “Best Female DJ” Redma Awards 2007 ( Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Award ).

Electric Barbarellas are the only DJs in this region that spins top quality house music with a twist of dirty, vocal, and sexy sound. They embrace the unity of music, fashion, and art as the ultimate clubbing experience. Their popularity got them regular appearances on television shows such as: MTV’s “What’s Up?”, Jak TV Nite n Day (a popular clubbing and fashion TV program for Jakarta ), the O Channel (a very successful lifestyle TV station), and Tukul’s Empat Mata (an extremely popular prime time talk show). Great appeal to the female audience keeps them busy with many gigs at top international brand fashion shows. As a pioneer for female DJs and for having opened the door to the clubbing industry for other female DJs in Indonesia , they have drawn a great deal of interest from the press. They were featured on popular magazines such as: Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Her World, Playboy, Maxim, Juice, and Free Mag. Indonesia's largest daily newspaper "KOMPAS" also did a feature on Electric Barbarellas with a special one full page interview called, "Petualangan Devina dan Milinka" (The Adventures of Devina & Milinka).

They are now a trendsetter in Indonesia , writing and playing their own music in a live performance (Undiscovered Side) with ableton, vocals, keyboard, and guitar, combined with high fashion and great artistic visuals. The crowd is taken to an unforgettable journey of positive energy, super tight mixing skills, and awesome music. Still evolving, still redefining, the Electric Barbarellas are undoubtedly the staple of dance music for years to come.
